It applies to recruiter accounts, billing interactions, account security events, public forms, and platform usage data processed through Rolework-powered job boards.

Rolework may collect personal data directly from recruiters, employers, candidates, and other users depending on how they interact with the platform.

Account data such as name, email address, organization name, role, login identifiers, and encrypted password credentials.
Authentication and security data related to email and password sign-in, password resets, session state, device context, and verification flows.
Billing and transaction data such as billing contact details, company billing information, tax-related fields, payment status, and limited payment metadata provided by Stripe or other payment workflows.
Platform activity data such as job publication history, contact form submissions, account actions, and first-party analytics about views, apply clicks, favorites, and related engagement events.

2. How We Use Personal Data

Rolework uses personal data to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the platform and to deliver the services requested by customers and users.

To create and manage accounts, authenticate users, and secure access.
To publish and manage job postings, company profiles, and related content.
To process orders, invoices, payments, refunds, and billing support requests.
To send transactional emails, verification emails, password resets, and service communications.
To measure platform usage and provide first-party analytics tied to job board activity.
To investigate abuse, enforce platform policies, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Rolework uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for platform operation, including authentication, tenant-aware session handling, security protections, and certain product analytics. Disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the platform from working correctly.

Rolework does not sell personal data. Personal data may be shared with service providers and infrastructure partners acting on Rolework's behalf when necessary to operate the service.

Stripe may process payment-related information for billing and checkout workflows.
Mailgun may process email delivery data for transactional and support-related emails.
Hosting, storage, database, and security providers may process technical data required to run the platform.

Some job boards may route candidates to external application systems or allow recruiters to receive applicant data directly. In those cases, the employer, recruiter, or external application provider may act as an independent controller of candidate data once the candidate leaves the Rolework-controlled experience or submits information directly to that party.

Rolework may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product, legal, operational, or security changes. The latest version will be published on the relevant board with an updated effective date when appropriate.
